These are our new rooms which are individual units with majestic views of the Drakensberg. Each unit has a king-size bed, separate lounge area, TV and DVD, gas fireplace, dressing room area, under floor heated bathroom with bath as well as indoor and outdoor showers, private balconies with loungers, air conditioning, tea and coffee making facilities, a mini bar area, as well as wireless internet.

The new Fordoun Farm Village is built with the purpose of tapping into the Agri Tourism, leisure and wedding market, and at the same time growing our conferencing market. With panoramic views of the Drakensberg Mountains, in a tranquil country setting, the feeling of relaxation and romance is almost tangible. 8 luxurious self-catering chalets provide ample accommodation for 32 guests. The new Multi Functional Venue is a state of the art facility, combining a breathtaking wow affect while at the same time offering practicality and convenience to the guest.
Although the Farm Village is separate to the original Hotel, Restaurant and Spa, there is a lot of synergy between the two establishments. Adults staying at the Farm Village will have access to the facilities up at the Hotel and this will work both ways. The Farm Village will be family orientated with activities for children being a continuous focus!

Fordoun Spa
Fordoun Spa is in the heart of Nottingham Road, Midlands Meander and boasts a team of experts that include skilled masseurs, Reiki and Bio-energy specialists, a traditional African Healer and highly trained aestheticians. The spa features internationally acclaimed treatments such as the rasul, (a Turkish steam and clay treatment room), a saline Floatation pool, indoor swimming pool, a gymnasium, sauna, steam room, vichy shower, hydrotherapy room, and a couples’ treatment suite with hydrotherapy bath.
Treatments available at Fordoun include:
Aromatherapy body and bath treatments, using exotic blends of essential oils to suit each customer’s needs;
Totally unique African treatments which include the Indulgent African Earth Experience and the Inkomfe (African Potato) healing wraps;

African Traditional Healer Dr Elliot Ndlovu
African Traditional Healer Dr Elliot Ndlovu, Inyanga (medicinal healer) and Sangoma (spiritual healer) is our inspiration and gives to us and our guests the wisdom and healing powers of Africa. In Elliot’s garden we have over 120 different species of healing plants. We also have two African therapy rooms and Elliot’s consulting room. All built and designed in Zulu style.
This is in actual fact a part of our Spa but is where we do specific treatments using traditional extracts from Zulu healing plants. There are two therapy rooms at KwaNdlovu. Elliot has his consulting room in the centre. The area is surrounded by a garden of over 120 varieties of traditional healing plants.
